TVPPA General Rules

  1. Gas or diesels in all classes
  2. Tractors must weigh within limits of weight class.  No tolerance.
  3. Children under the age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, with a kill switch while pulling.
  4. All drivers start with a tight chain - no snatching
  5. Driver must stay seated while pulling - no rodeoing
  6. Each puller has 2 attempts to pass the 40' mark.  After passing the 40' mark, pull is official.
  7. A protest must be filed before the next class starts, and the person protesting must participate in the class they are protesting, and put up $25 cash non-refundable.
  8. No alcoholic beverages.  Un-sportsman like conduct will not be tolerated.
  9. If you are red flagged while pulling, that means stop.  If the flagman feels you did not stop quick enough, you will be disqualified.
  10. Front tires cannot leave ground more than 18" while pulling.
  11. One pull per tractor per class - All tractors subject to RPM check.
  12. Must use a clevis or D ring hitch.  Tractors with hammer straps are acceptable.
  13. Wheelie bars are recommended - 12 volt conversions acceptable.
  14. Any item falling from a tractor while pulling is disqualified.
  15. Pull in low gear.  No shifting of T/A's ECT....
  16. All tractors must weigh prior to pulling.  Be sure your are right when you pull the scales.
  17. Right or wrong, the judges decision is always final.

FARM STOCK 1900-1977

  1. No alterations that change the appearance from original specifications, blocks jugs carburetors ECT.  No side shields except factory equipped.
  2. Original type governors only, 10% over on RPMS.  No added governor controls.
  3. Drawbar is 18" and 18".  Front weights 10' from center of rear axle.
  4. No cut ground or spun tires.  No dual wheels.  Pressed steel wheels allowed if factory equipped.
  5. Tire sizes pure farm stock & farm stock 3000-4500 max 13.6, 5000-6500 max 15.5, 7000-8500 max 16.9, 8500 & up max 18.4, exceptions are standard models.

ANTIQUE LOW GEAR ONLY 1900-1959

  1. No alterations that change the appearance from original specifications, blocks must be acceptable replacements.
  2. 20% over factory RPMS
  3. Drawbar is 20" and 18".  Front weights 11' from center of rear axle.
  4. Tire sizes antique 3000-6000 16.9, 6500 & up 18.4

PURE FARM STOCK 1900-1977

  1. No alterations that change the appearance from original specifications, blocks jugs carbs must be acceptable replacements for the make and year.  No side shields except factory equipped.
  2. Original type governors, factory RPMS, no added governor controls.
  3. Stock unaltered drawbars with no modifications.
  4. No cut ground or spun tires.  Pressed steel wheels allowed if factory equipped.
  5. Add on weights allowed.  They must be for the make and model tractor they are on.  No added weight brackets.
  6. All parts must be on the tractor.  "IE" you cannot replace PTO with homemade cover.
  7. Tire sizes pure farm stock & farm stock 3000-4500 max 13.6, 5000-6500 max 15.5, 7000-8500 max 16.9, 8500 & up max 18.4, exceptions are standard models.

OPEN 6MPHTOCK 1900-1959

   1.  Open 6 MPH is what it says.  Don't break 6 MPH after passing marker cone.
